The win by Kansas City this afternoon eliminated the Raiders from the playoffs, and the loss by San Diego eliminated the Chargers from the playoffs. So next week's game with the Raiders is for the 3rd or 4th seed - Chiefs win and they're the 3rd seed (or if they lose and the Colts lose - because the Jaguars will get the playoff spot). If they lose and the Colts win, then the Colts are the 3rd seed (by head-to-head tiebreaker).
Third seed gets the Jets, 4th seed will get the Ravens or the Steelers.

This has been an incredible turnaround season. Winning at least one playoff game would be wonderful--and the Jets look vulnerable, so winning next week does have meaning.
