I send her a few questions just like any client might do, to find out her likes, dislikes, price point, requesting up dated pics or any if she has some, menu items, specials, anything that she would like to give me info about herself.
Do you guys think it's wrong to ask these questions.
I'm sure I'm not the only one asking questions like this.
Do you guys think the provider should or shouldn't respond.

You stated I write a book. Asking what.
Please enlighten me, on what questions should be asked.
Very interesting!

I am assuming that she must not have had much info in an ad and that is why you were asking. I would have sent the provider a short email, text, PM or whatever the communication device is, "Hi... I noticed you do not have very much info. Is there a website available. I am possibly interested so please tell me a little about yourself."
Quick, simple, non-intrusive...
Just an opinion from an oldie but goodie provider!
Hope that helps understanding why it could have been viewed as a little too much.
Smooch!
