What is Waco Kid's Weekly College Football Review? It is an ongoing weekly review of all things College Football!!

Each week upcoming games can be discussed and predictions made, name-calling after victories and general all-around college football discussion! Each week will be closed out by the next Monday and a new thread opened for the current college football schedule for each week.

What's valid in the Internet age? Just about anything! Any of the major sports publications, local newspapers, any of the big networks and official school and NCAA sites just to cover the big ones.

WKWCFR rule 2

Predictions must be posted 1 day in advance! If you haven't read the sports page and figgured out who's going to win by the day before ya never will!

Must be time stamped before Midnight the day before game-day, for any weekly games Thur-Sun on the current weekly schedule.

So there you have it, pretty basic! You can post on general topics of your favorite teams regardless of that week's opponent. Just remember WKWCFR rule 1

we will see what we have after the Cal game. no it's not ranked like it would/should have been under Mack Brown. Cal screamed their libtard asses that they shoulda gone to the Rose Bowl against Michigan but we proved we should have gone. if we had played Cal that season we would have beaten them by 40 points.

There's good news and bad news here. UT has found it's QB. Heard put up VY/Colt like numbers. Now can he keep up it up? UT's season depends on it. it's early but now we see the potential upside Heard has.
Cal is good on offense but i'd like a better showing on defense. and how do we botch a PAT?? Still, we could have folded down 3 scores but didn't. a PAT and this game would have gone to OT.

There's signs of life again on the south 40. Both Swoopes and Heard were Mack Brown recruits, as long as one of them pans out fans should stf about Brown's so-called lack of talent for Strong. it's on Charlie now anyway.

The Swoopes Experiment @ QB (hopefully) is officially over; Jerrod Heard is the Present & Future for the Horns. If the coaching staff thinks there's a shred of salvageable talent / skill they can get out of Swoopes (ie: convert him to TE?) now is the time to give that a shot. Otherwise, I hope we never see him under center again for this team.

OSU will be another test for the Horns (as all teams will be for them this year). I'm pretty sure the Cowboys recall last year's upset over them.....hang on tight, this might be another long, nerve-wracking game.
