More clear-cut definition, or at least understanding, of terms (like "outing," for instance) is needed before being so loosely bandied about.

Only providers care about provider safety.

Some providers realize they have a responsibility to their fellow ladies to help protect them from suspicious fellows, but others will remain silent to protect themselves.

Drama turns some members off, but entertains many. Apparently train wrecks are fascinating, despite the carnage, loss, and pain.

If someone has already formed a negative opinion about you, changing that is like Sisyphus rolling the boulder uphill, only to watch it always fall back to the bottom.

A sterling reputation can stand some tarnish, but a whole lot of spit polishing has to be done to brighten it up again.

Everybody thinks mods get free pussy, when all they really see is a whole lot of caterwauling.

Most gentleman don't want to screen. They think providers should just take their word for everything, specially if they have a handle on ECCIE.

Better communication between both parties would eliminate a good percentage of NCNSs.

Members are often impatient, with each other, with the system, with imperfection, but rarely with themselves.

Tolerance is a dirtier work than "f**k" on the board.

Rumors are more fun than truth.

Cleanliness is next to godliness, but evidently some members worship agricultural deities.

My time away was very insightful. Just thought that I would share MY, and only my, reflections. I'm sure that there are many things, funny and serious, that can be pointed out about the board. I love the place, actually, for all its faults and frailties. There just isn't any other board like ECCIE. It is a living, evolving place full of surprises and shocks.

First of all I'd like to say Welcome back Ms. Fancy you are definitely someone to look up to in the way you carry yourself and I have told you how I feel about you in private communications.

What I have observed is that this site somehow seems to be lost in the 1800's or early 1900's when women had no voice. And equality didn't exist.

Like you mention on your first statement members here (men specifically) interpret what providers post as how it makes sense to them and as how is going to favor them in a way that will allow them to attack you. Then they'll proceed to do just that, at any cost, call you every name on the book, harass you to answer questions, then when you do they'll twist it and use it against you, they'll go as far as bringing up family and some will even compare you to criminals such as murderers and serial killers, just to get under your skin.

Irony is that by the way they act, their lack of compassion and the cruel things that come out of their minds, makes them seem like they're probably the ones that share the same type of mind set as the criminals they're comparing us to....

What I find most amusing is that if you stand up for yourself or treat them the same way they treat you, then you're "bat shit crazy" and a drama whore. And label you as a horrible person even when they have never spent 2 minutes in your presence. Then they'll go and proceed to make countless of negative posts about you, even try to hickjack a stellar review of you, when again they have NEVER met you. Tebow forgives you acknowledge and address that to them because that will just give them more reasons to never stop defaming you.

Some mask their behavior by saying that they do it just for "entertainment" and "giggles", other ones justify it by saying that it is your own fault for even posting here, and will try to make you feel guilty and try to make you feel like is your own fault they're attacking you and ganging up against you.

Many have advised me to just post my ad and let it be it. And I absolutely appreciate their advise and get where they're coming from. But my question is WHY ? Why does it have to be this way? Why can't us providers voice our opinions and points of views? Even alerts go south when posted on a public forum and the provider making the alert usually gets attacked.

yep, seems guys here like to abuse girls more. When we complain or stand up for the girls, we get warnings or banded. This site isnt what it used to be.
