Need Eccie 101!

When I get messages on my email and text nothing comes out except a phone number; no name, no handle, no nothing. It's very difficult to identify members. I get private and regular messaging, which only tells me I have to go to the site to open it. Rather redundant. Help!

When a member wants to make an appt he sends me a message

The only notifications we send out, if you opt to receive it, are messages to let you know you have a new message in your inbox and to check it you must login. There are no other sorts of messages we send you so I'm not sure what you're talking about as far as messages with phone numbers go.
