upcoming visit

Hey there i am thinking about visiting the middle of this month and was wondering where is the best area to stay or stay away from. Also any suggestions on dining, entertainment, shopping would be greatly appreciated, this is my first visit.

Love live music, mexican food seafood since ill actually b by sum water, anything wine related

No ive never been there at all furthest south ive bn is austin. Open to suggestions wanting to expand my travels

James Coney Island - Fantastic DOGS
Moontower INN - Patio Hotdog restaurant - Best DOGS in H-Town - just at the edge of downtown.
Hard Rock Cafe
Mary's Lebanese off of Richmond in the Galleria Area.
Mongolian Hot Pot
Genghis Grill

But the market here for cbj visitors is not so good.

You'll have plenty of time to see the sites.
