Didn't expect another Superbowl, but I thought the good ol boys would get through week 1!!

The seahawks came out to play. They wanted it more.

Seahawks played much better than we did, they desrerve it. Kinda summarizes our season this year, just sort of disappointing. The missed field goal against Atlanta to lose that game then losses to Arizona and Cleveland, lots of interceptions this year, numerous penalties. Today we had no running game which a team cannot win playing one dimensional. Still we were 11-5 not a bad season at all. I was prolly disappointed cuz any year after last year is gonna be disappointing, we started out 13 - 0 last year.

Saints are still a very good football team!!!

After visiting Nola this past summer, the Saints quickly became my second favorite team. Although I didn't think they could (based on their play this season) I was hoping they could repeat. Hated to see the season end on such a bad note. Saints really need to shore up that defense. Way too many arm tackles yesterday, and that won't get it done in the NFL.

Still a successful season. You have a really good team and will be interesting to see what they do in the off season to reload through FA and the draft.

I spent yesterday afternoon in a very nice hotel room with room service and nice bottles of wine . . . plus a good friend of mine who is not an "official" provider but is a very, very hot girl with whom you can have an "arrangement" . . . whatever that means. Anyway, after the game we just felt like sex was not interesting. We were too bummed out. That's when you know you're taking football too seriously.

The game went just like the rest of the season. We jumped out ahead and the defense let them back in it, can't depend on the offense to do it all. That tremendous defensive showing, only allowing 41 pts, really sucked. I hope Greg Williams gets a head coaching job somewhere else so he will get out of New Orleans. We have a good team with a lot of talent and heart so maybe next year will go better for us.
