Not really understanding how they gonna fire the head coach after just 11 damn games. I know they're 4-7 but damn........

Why rockets bounce back and end up contending for championships. Bob McNair would have done nothing

The players had a "players only meeting " yesterday so maybe they went to management saying they could no longer play for McHale for whatever reason. But heck the players are the ones not making plays. But an old saying its easier to fire the coach than the players.

McHale was out of it for whatever reason. He seemed disinterested and like he was going through the motions. Maybe he felt he had lost the team. Maybe he had lost the team.

He should've been gone after the first season though tbh. But good luck to the guy.

Fire Howard and Harden instead...

That said, I think they overachieved some last year getting to the conference finals

They shouldn't have fired him. Maybe a suspension would have been more suitable. But the wrong Houston coach got fired.

Look at the 76'rs coach. He's still around. And the rockets went post season 3 years in a row. By NFL standards, he should have lasted another 5 yrs. min.

Blame the coach like always. Apparently, it's McHale's fault that Harden is shooting 37%, and Howard should have never been signed. He hasn't met expectations.

Howard and Harden wanted him fired because they wouldn't play for him...they expressed that to management...management fired him...

This isn't rocket science here...but it is prima donna bullshit...

I expect a dramatic turnaround from those two now that they're done throwing games to get McHale fired...

It's gotten so bad I couldn't even give away Rocket tickets. Free!

Yes, they totally tuned out McHale.

Now that I think of it, Josh Smith signing somewhere else may have been a sign that things weren't so great in RocketLand. The Rockets are the perfect team for him.

Now we got a team led by a drunk player, and laissez-faire player, and a oft injured player. Good luck Bickerstaff.

I guess last season was just a dream.

Popovich has proved time and again he's not going to let players run his team. He's been keeping egos fed but in check and winning championships for 15 years. There have been very few players that don't love him as a coach but they all damn sure respect him and bust their ass for him. No one was willing to bust their ass for McHale.
