My Opinion On The New Add Rules...What is yours
Since ASPD went down along with the economy....All sorts of various types of providers have surfaced....I hate to be categorized in one lump group, but I must say some of the adds were getting pretty raunchy. I assume this will make the hobbyist do a wee bit more research and seek his forte` out. Then it may work out for the providers who follow the rules. If the Mods are on their game there will be lots of deleted adds soon.
Phoebe...I think the poor mods have their work cut out for them for the next couple of months. It's going to be a work in progress as some of the providers do not participate in the community or read the forums.
If the mods could post a notice at login...that would ensure that everyone is notified and aware of the new advertsing policy. Until then, we all need to be patient with the providers that still may not be aware of the changes.
Nikki it's sad to say but even after the mods pm'd the providers, some still don't take heed to how serious these changes are to the hobby. Nor do they care. I've always felt that this business is not for everyone, but if you're going to do it at least follow the rules. In the 3 years i've been in the hobby Ive seen a lot of things but nothing like this.

I didn't get a pm...when did they do that?

When we starting editing ads when the new rules came down the provider who posted the ad was notified why the ad was edited.
Oh, I see...I thought she meant all providers got pm's. Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I just saw a couple of ads today with rates still...poor mods!
Well I think the adds not following the rules ought to be deleted...because the mods will be proofreading all the time. BTW I'm bored!! MLK holiday...is everyone out marching?
