social gathering

Went to a social gathering of hobbyists and providers celebrating the new year.


Started off slow, but really picked up.

Saw people I haven't seen in a while, some new and interesting finds, and of course good friends that are always fun to see and talk with.


thanks to a certain hobbyist for all his hard work.

I had a great time there too! It was good to see everyone enjoying the festivities. Thanks Ck!

Was great to get out and see some familiar people while meeting some new personalities. Happy new year everyone, and may all find what they are looking for in 2016.

Interesting mix of folks last night. More than 40 of us.

Looking forward I am to a continuing stream of events in 2016 - mixing HH's, lunches, "unannounced specials," many different themes and even a "seminar"or two.
