Need help finding a Landlord

I'm coming to a dead end in my apartment hunt.
I can not find a landlord that does not require proof of income.
I am trying to move from my place as soon as possible since my lease is up very soon.
Do any of you ladies or gents know of any rental properties or landlords that would rent to me?
Since you no doubt declare all your income as all good citizens do, just show a prospective landlord your previous year's tax return. I would think with the kind of money you earn, that should suffice.
Take over a sublet. Some idiot out there won't know to check up on you.
I have rentals in Corning NY.

Start reporting income so you wont have this issue again... You cant get by being an escort making all this money without reporting Any ever, it just not going to work. No financing, nada. You are having trouble just getting a place to live... Or get a real job too so you have a pay stub.

You can file under 'entertainer' or find a 'front' business to file under. Take the time to talk to a tax person so they guide you.

For the peanut gallery here, yes, some of us do report money. You cant build any kind of life with no credit, income, etc. You cant just go buy a $20,000 car in cash or a house without consequence. Money has to come from somewhere...

But mainly because I will have a fully functional real business by the end of the year but it definitely gives you a piece of mind when dealing with things when you are legal 😊 Good luck.

For now since you obviously aren't going to jump into a business I would suggest putting an ad on Craigslist houaing wanted stating your situation of you need an apartment ASAP but you do not have proof of income but you can pay first last and security if need be to move say your money came from babysitting or your parents or something for now
Well I do work another job but it's under the table. I can get a statement from my employer. But it's hard finding someone who take just the statement and not pay stubs.
I'm going to try right now putting a ad up on Craigslist.
Thanks!

I roll mine into my 'front' business even though its a very real business by 'day'. I am not LLC-ed yet. I will later this year.

I also have a part time 'real' job for now.

Good for you starting a business, it takes some serious work to get going!! PM me any time, Ive been an entrepreneur for many years. I may be able to help you with 'real' world small business goodies. Patricianly marketing online.

It's always bothered me that guys jump to the conclusion you ladies aren't reporting any of your earnings. Of course you're not reporting all of it but neither does my mechanic.

Tell Landlord you want a 6 month lease and will pay six months upfront. If you can swing it, most will take that deal in a heartbeat.
You can tell a prospective landlord that you work a job under the table and that you would be happy to pay double the security deposit (two months rent) if they would take a chance on you.
