Advice, please

I am new to the hobby, and after reading and researching a ton on here, I decided to send a PM to a verified provider on here. My birthday is coming up, and I want to treat myself to this endeavor.

I sent a short, nice note explaining that I was new, but had read that she was newbie friendly, and included some general information about me. I got a reply, and she said that I would need to be screened. Well, yea, I know that. I replied back that that was fine, and what did she require?


I haven't heard a word back. So, my quest is still on.


A couple other ladies in my area are very high on my radar, but they may be a little too fast paced to introduce a new guy to this life.

What do you folks think? I welcome any and all replies.

I know and understand the need for caution, but how does a new guy break into the ranks? I am not afraid to give a work reference, or whatever. Should I join the 411 site, or what?

Seems like a waste to me, that I could lavish on a lady at the end of a great session.

p411 is a good site to join. maybe you should try calling the lady that you sent a pm to, some ladies aren't on the boards all the time and the best way to reach them is by simply calling them

You should definitely join P411. Most of the ladies down here accept it as a good way to start your screening, and it also alleviates a little worry. I'm not sure I'd call a lady I'd never seen, but if her number is posted on her ads, then I guess its there for a reason, right? You may also want to try email. I get notices in my email that I have PMs, but not everyone does that. Maybe she's missing them that way? Otherwise, email or PM another lady and inquire. There's nothing that says you can't ask around to see who's available.

Welcome Jim, sorry your having such a hard time in my fine city..lol! I say call the lady in question. Sometimes talking to her can be more personal than the email since you have already established some contact with her.

But like the others above me in this thread, i agree that P411 is a great tool for both us and you.

From speaking to a few "newbie friendly" ladies, I have found they are inundated with requests from newbies.

Since you do not feel comfortable releasing work information, my best advice is to bite the proverbial bullet and join P411.

In all honesty, the p411 service assists so much in screening that I often give great discounts to guys who book meetings with me through the site.

Thank you for the replies. I am not sure I would be comfortable calling without first having an email or 2 exchanged. I see the consensus is that P411 is the thing to do. I can understand that.
