Has anyone been to any of these restaurants?

If anyone has...I would like to know which ones, and if they are worth a visit...

Thank you...

Yes.
Yep
Any of them worth a visit? if so, which ones..thank you
I don't like the ones in SA. For me they are bland and too much of a typical Corp chain.
I can't speak to the others. But some of the Dallas ones look promising. I'd say that the new Quad off 59 near shepard around the Hooters/disc tire here in Houston is pretty good
that web site is so fucked up that the photos are bigger than my screen.

mi tierra is over rated. it is always open and quite the landmark...but it is too plain and simple. It is simpler food than most wetb*cks make at home. Pica de gallo would be a better choice or La Fogata or any neighborhood one off.

based on the photo of the tacos, i probably wouldn't chose Desperados

Just a piss in the ocean sample of Texmex joints.
Brick & mortar roach coaches.
There are 5 per square mile in Houston, each one better than the next.

I've been to Joe T Garcia's, it was good but I didn't think it was anything special. The outside patio is nice.

That looks like some kind of Texas Monthly bullshit from around 2002 or so. And most of those places had probably already gone to seed even then.
