from reading the thread it sounds like this one guy has a serious burr in his side for no real reason at all. I think everyone else has weighed in and stands up for your status here on the board and the level of massage service your provide. please don't let this guy get you down. No heavy lifting, Christine. Be careful and watch for tenderness or pain just under your ribs on your left side. Mono can cause your spleen to swell. If you find you are having pain there, take an Nsaid and see your physician.

In the 60's, I spent two days at the medical library reading everything available about Mono after seeing a cases that surprised me with the seriousness. Most of the time it passes; but, in a small percentage of the cases: it can be deadly; or, maybe the knowledge and treatment has changed in 50 years.

Everyone who has this disease should take precaution. See the Doctor on a regular schedule until cured.
