Number of Tattoos

It seems that providers' options for number of tattoos are None, A Few and Several. Perhaps a Many option should be added. Thanck you.

How many tattoos are there in 'several'? Originally Posted by chicagoboy

It's really confusing though. Like yeah, I have tattoos, BUT do I consider myself tattooed? Nah, not really. It would be cool to have like a percentage of skin covered. Estimates of course. But really.. what is many? what is several? I've seen girls who were basically covered. I would say I'm 5% covered with 6 tattoos but that is only because several of them are rather large(sleeve for instance). If you've got a little butterfly on your wrist, a small chain around your ankle, just you know like little bangers.. I don't think they should be considered "many" or "several", despite the fact there actually are multiple tattoos.

It's interesting I'll give you that much.

Whatever make hobbyists and escort happy with ink.

None is self explanatory, several is 3 or more. Many would be a sleeve.
I was 8 years in the Navy and have none. My uncle had several from WWII, and as a little kid, they were cool, but they became quite ugly in later years. I know that's due to the quality of ink.
But I met and OLD man one day, who had Concentration Camp numbers on his arm. I decided right then, I didn't want any.

As with many things, taking time to use words instead of a pull down easy way out is best.

I think most people would consider a full sleeve to be "more tattooed than a few small stars, but in pull-down speak it would accurately be "one".

I saw a lady once who had a series of small flowers circling her ankle. I described it as "one small tattoo". Later I received a scathing PM by someone who said I completely misrepresented her because she had "many" tattoos. I actually had to set up another appointment just to carefully check. (OK, maybe that wasn't the only reason for the second appointment).
Subjective to say the least and depends on one's interpretation. While a full back piece may be comprised of many tats over many sessions that form an overall picture and tell a story, is it many or just one big one?
