Comcast bought MSNBC which is getting killed in the ratings by Fox. Fox owns DirecTV a competitor of Comcast. Comcast will eventually revamp the MSNBC lineup and get rid of Maddow and Chris Matthews, just like CNN has revamped their lineup.
If you watched Hardball the day (maybe two) after the AZ congresswoman was shot, Matthews was beside himself trying to draw Palin as the cause of the incident. His behavior bordered on deranged. Even his guests were taken aback and confused by his ranting.

I was perfectly happy to have him on MSNBC.....
