Loft 523 on gravier is nice in the downtown cbd area but parking is kinda rough.

If you want to see the city of New Orleans then all the above suggestions are good. If you want to see clients on this trip, you may want to stay in Metairie (the suburb) since parking, traffic, and Mardi Gras do not mix well with clients coming to see you.

Ok, so let's discuss Metairie...are there guys there who will not come into the City, even w/o Mardi Gras or another event going on? Is it a different clientle? Is there an area to stay there that is better than others? Specific hotels?

There are hotels off of I-10 in Metairie. The big dilemma with going downtown for me is parking, ot very conveninet but I do go downtown but it is weighed into my decision to see a lady or not. Just me though

For me it's easier to go to Slidell or French Quarter.
