PECOS information please

I am making a trip to pecos tonight and will not have the energy to drive back to odessa later. I do not want to stay at a pricey hotel since I am just sleeping over and leaving tomorrow but, also do not want to get stuck at a hotel with little critters crawling around. Can anyone help with some recommendations? I have never been to this city so I am unsure about any of the sides of town.
