Is P411 worth it? Opinions please!

I'm considering joining P411 to help stay out of trouble (hopefully!) while I enjoy the hobby.

I'd like everyone's opinion...good or bad.
IMO, it is a very big help with screening and is well worth it. However, keep in mind that it doesn't replace additional screening, it's only one part the process!!

Yes yes yes double yes yes. Very worth it.
Thanks ladies. I'd like to hear from others as well...providers & clients both

In a word, yes.

In several words, imho, it is quite helpful and useful, but shouldn't be the only arrow in the quiver. I use it and eccie in tandem. Adding personal contacts to those two resources enhances all three. That's not to say it is wholly without glitch, but that's why you use a group of resources.

On further review, my one word response was likely far superior to my wordy one.
I would not see a lady who hasn't been checked out by P411. I wouldn't expect (or want) a lady to see me who doesn't screen through P411.

So yes, unless you're a "drive-by" hobbyist who is feeling really lucky, invest in P411.

In addition to the other endorsements above, if you travel, it's a great research tool to locate the legitimate, verifiable ladies in a market you don't know.

I am new to the board and recently when through the P411 screening process. I was apprehensive, but recognized that if I was going to meet any quality providers I needed some way for them to verify me. P411 was professional and discreet..

Many of the providers want additional references even with P411. I don't blame them and would not want to meet with someone that is not serious about screening.
P411 is fine. But I don't use a third party screening as a screening tool alone...

In other words, I don't care if you have P411, date-check or RS2000.

I do my own screening.... That's just one ladies opinion....

To each their own... Good luck

Its always nice to see someone who is a member of P411 or Date-check, but I'm like Megan, I do my own screening also.

So I say, go for it!!! Its all good.
I know most people here like it, but to me it's pure madness to use it. If/when that site gets busted for solicitation/pandering/aiding & abetting/whatever I fully expect them to turn state's evidence and turn over their digital black book.

Aside from that, the fewer third parties getting between hobbyists and providers, the better.

Also, travel to some larger, looser, more liberal big cities and you'll discover that this idea doesn't fly there. It's wholly unnecessary and people on boards dedicated to those sorts of areas hate the idea in general. Total flip from the attitude here.

We're in Canada, where there are no such laws. The hobby is legal here, and P411 is a totally legitimate, tax paying, business. Even if we weren't, I'm far more concerned about my livelihood than I am about a few months house arrest. I have been in this industry since I was a teenager, and I have no plans of ever doing anything else.

Not to mention, we don't keep any private information whatsoever. We don't need it, so why would we? If you are really concerned about it, we accept client members who have two excellent provider references, without gathering any private information at all.

AND if you sign up with two provider references, you get a free 6 month trial (no strings!). Try it, you just might like it.

Always,
Gina

I personally consider P411 to be an invaluable tool in the screening process. P411 saves a provider a lot of steps in the sometimes cumbersome information collecting process. It makes my life so much easier! Whenever I've had any issues or problems, the staff has always handled them very quickly & efficiently. P411 genuinely seems to care about their clientele and is very, very attentive to our needs. I also think it lends credibility to hobbyists.

Kudos, Gina! I don't know what we'd do without you!

You've done that sort of detailed research? If not, has a credible legal scholar done so? Even if so, a judge, prosecutor, and jury may very well come to a different conclusion.

There's also the potential for more direct extortion or outing, no legal authorities required.
