Meet and Greet. Off the clock Time?

Meet and Greet. Off the clock Time? Some providers won't meet a hobbyist until they meet at a public location. Meal or cup of coffee. Has this happened to you?

But have also had quite a few off clock dinners, bar tabs, etc. with long time friends and there's been few screening meets (also off clock).
Picking up the drink or meal tab doesn't count.

I've had someone offer a meet and greet price - didn't take them up on that.

A really great lady over in Houston always met a prospective new client in this manner.... It was the only way to see her and she stayed incredibly busy
