The Girlfriend Experience on Starz

Anyone watch the first episode last night? Introduction to the world of "transactional relationships". Should be an interesting show if the one last night is any indication.

The movie from Steven Soderbergh with Sasha Grey was ok - a little to artsy

That's cool - the move was just a little bland and didn't really have a story - more like one week of this girls life and that's it

Watched all the episodes yesterday. Petty fun. Hardly about hooking at all...
I found it boring, just like the movie! I mean where's the on the hooker board drama? The NCNS? The "Can I hold a dildos while you lay on the bed and I masturbate into a condom ?" Moments? And yes that^^^^ has actually happend.

I don't go to the cinema to watch movies about what my real life is like, I want something that is fantasy and will entertain and distract me....however, I guess for "normal" people, looking at a provider's life, would be just that, lols.
Just like 50 Shades of Grey. A silly unrealistic, I'm passionate fucked hard rendition of the real thing. A petty facsimile. Yes I hate shows and movies about the sexual underworld unless it's hardcore. Because it is hardcore.
I couldn't even make it through the first episode. The acting was not that great and the storyline was unrealistic. A nine hundred dollar bottle of wine, really??? I guess that makes better tv than a thirty dollar notel room for two hours.

The only movie I have seen accurately show the hobby was zipper with Patrick Wilson - it's about a political hopeful who begins seeing young escorts.

The first meeting - the movie nails it, hotel room, nervousness, even the girl opening the door but hiding behind it to let you in. your sure whose there , but there still a mystery about whose there. The sweet girl in sexy lingerie that goes from GFE to pse in a sec. That I thought was pretty accurate.

The book "men, women, & children" has a husband indulging in escorts and he visits TER in the book , in the film it's some random site, but I gave the book points for that. His wife indulges in Ashley Madison.

I found it to be very unrealistic. Maybe if was an SD/SB relationship it with a stretch could be possible. But giving a hooker your credit card so she can gleefully drop a couple of K of your money just ain't happin'. Girls who are thinking of going into the business are going to be sadly disappointed with $200 and a notel.
