Annoying ads

Is there any way to remove ads? Even if it's by paying? it's a bit frustrating to have so many pop up and be on the side of my computer screen where people might see.

Unfortunately no. Sponsorship is how the board operates and allows it to be a free board.

So how much does it pay every time I get hijacked to a hookup site.

Adblock will work for some things and not others, but it's easy to use.
