What the heck is up with Midland/Odessa?

The last time I was here, I had a great time, met some sweet guys and corresponded with a few more...it's why I wanted to come back :+). This time has been nothing but last minute cancellation or ncns....and even one who shorted me. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it makes me sad....guess I'll keep my butt in LA and East TX. I read alot of threads complaining about providers flaking, but sure seems the other way round sometimes I hope things get better for the summer ladies....as for me, come see me in Shreve I suppose :-)

I would chalk this up to bad timing. For the first time in about a year or two, there are several good quality providers in town at the same time in the same week. My GUESS is that some of your cancellations were guys who changed their plans at the last minute.

It's all good, just really is the first time I've encountered the level of disrespect I've had here Sadly, I doubt I will be back. Seems I'll keep my adventures in LA and maybe branch out to Arkansas . No hard feelings, just learning from this one :-)

They just don't know what they're missing!!! . After hearing of this, I've actually decided to keep my personal plans in Lubbock this weekend but go on back home when I'm finished, rooms (and tires!) are just too expensive in West Texas for all that mess to happen.

It's all good Viv....go to El Paso and Abilene....both are awesome for me when I go....just had to adjust a bit this time, but I will definitely be making the trip again :-)

Go ahead and bash Midessa all you want. I for one wasn't one of the mongers that NCNS'd you. There's no reason whatsoever for a NCNS at all, unless it comes down to life or death, so I completely understand. But, last minute cancellations do happen by both the monger and the provider. Shit happens...life happens. I've been cancelled by a provider, so it goes both ways.

I Heart WTX! Even with out all the Madness! All city's have duchbags you just gotta get threw them to get to the Good Ones! I've always said out of all cities I travel to W TX has always had a Genuine Appreciation for Good Providers. I can't let you talk to Down on this area. Don't let a couple bad apples Spoil the whole bunch! The Real Men out here still got BIG BANKS TO PLAY IN!!! Trust when I tell you cuz I still play in them!

Sorry y'all....I truly wasn't bashing Midland, I was just very surprised by what happened.... And there are some details I DIDNT post, mostly because I dislike drama and I feel that I handled it. Suffice to say that those I did meet were absolutely awesome, with the exception of the one who shorted me lol....and by short, yes it was alot. Again, I'm not a drama queen and I don't start BS or try to stir things up, I simply was asking what was different this time since this was the only place this has happened to this degree.
