taking a poll

Okay. If any of you are like me, and I am sure some of you are (ha-ha.), you have taken a poll or two on this board. And thought that as long as you didn't make a comment, your answer in that poll was anonymous.

But, that is not true at all. When you click on the 'results", you can see who voted for each answer.
For instance, a lady posted a poll recently, and although i didn't vote, I looked at the results, and you know who was for, or against, or whatever.

So, lets say the poll was an answer that you wouldn't say to someone, or that person in particular, to their face, well, they know your answer anyways.

So, be aware. I'm just sayin'.
Whoa, good catch Joe Camel! (lol) Btw, how do we do a poll anyway?

I think you have the option to make the results visible or not.
yea. the poll can be made public.
if its a poll i may want to participate,
i look at the results first ...
if i see "numbers"...all is good!
if i see names...i dont respond...good or bad
hope everything has been good with you joe!

Yes, when creating the poll the poster has the choice of making the votes public or not.

Good heads-up Inchon! I don't recall any non-anonymous polls on the old board.
