Take a trip to Midland. I'll take all the pics you want. I have a top notch digital camera and a tripod. I'll edit them to your liking, you can post your favs and delete what you don't like. Hell, we can even make a video . Of you of course

Hello Zgirl2,

I hope this message finds you well. As I view your request, I am giving more opportunities to showcase my own work and possibly work with professionals seeking quality imagery. Learning how serious referrals are, please understand, I only recently entered into this tight community of hobbiest (enthusiast). Yet, am no stranger to the market of Adult Photography (unbeknownst to me was actually a thing), which is increasing my love and respect for photography; all while continuously allowing my own artistic foundation to reach greater heights.

If needed, I have a huge body of work I'd love to showcase, both Adult and non (No official Adult site ... social media only ... links below). If needed, you can easiky Google my commercial handle (non eccie info), with both ratings and comments (TBG Later). l can also refer several DFW eccie workers who too have utilized my services for both, Adult and non-Adult sessions.

Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to your response.

X

good on you for establishing your position clearly. no disrespect to anybody in this thread, but this business is full of dudes with cameras who just want to take pictures for their spank bank. the fact that your photographs are your single most powerful marketing tool and need to be presented in a way that's going to increase your business…and at least as important…effectively promote the image of what you are selling.

as you're choosing, don't listen to things like… i have a professional camera… i'll edit your photographs the same day… i'll give you 1000 images…none of that bullshit speaks to the professionalism of the shooter or the actual quality of their work.

a true professional is going to ask you what kind of images you want to make…do you have any of your own ideas…what sort of restrictions will there be on their usage… and he or she should very quickly suggest that the two of you enter a contract. given the nature of this business, many people are reluctant to do that, but even if all you do is discuss it gives you an idea of the type of photographer you're dealing with.

i'm in the 806 so I'm not much use to you, but i would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. i'm just glad to see you understand that this should be taken seriously.

Just to clarify, I WAS KIDDING! If my post was offensive to the OP, my apologies.

Although, I have taken a lot of pics for both providers as well as swingers (the women of course) for them to post on their showcases/profiles. I was always professional while doing the photo shoot and never once asked to sleep with them. Lengthy discussion prior to get a feel for what they were looking for regarding the end result, had them bring several of their favorite outfits to change into. Many times did the editing while they were there, gave them the disc and never kept any pics for myself unless they wanted me to have a few. It was never about building my spank bank. Hell, I don't even have a spank bank anymore lol. So...there you have it...

And no disrespect taken JD. I wanted to clarify this earlier when I saw Zgirl's response.
Fbsm is one of the few men I trust implicitly, I know you're looking for super professional pictures. But they get very very very costly. The joys of being a whore, family photos are 150 a session where as boudoir can be charged 3xs that. I know fbsm does a good job, and it might be something to consider until baller status hits. I myself have been on eccie for what like 3 or 4 years or something. And I still have yet to justify spending 400 bucks on a photo shoot.

you get what you pay for, and cheaping out on your single most important marketing material is never a good business plan. you may think you've never been able to justify spending real money on a really good photographs, but then again you have no idea how much more money you might've made had you been using them.

May I add... I suggest paying for your said photographs and obtain the rights to publish them.

Services for photos will usually end up in frustration when one person doesn't get their pics, or the photographer doesn't get his services.

I personally could give a shit who she has take her pics. Zgirl can decide on what she wants to do one way or the other. It's obviously her call whether she wants to spend $400+ on pics or not.

But let me make a point that has been commented on several times not only here in our forum, but across the entire board. For example, my last post about Nikki Tylor. Comments were made that the photographer did her no justice by editing/air brushing her pics to make her look better and mongers were disappointed once they seen her in person. The real "her" if you will. IMO there is a fine line when it comes to showcase pics. I know that I'm not going to be a happy camper when I show up and the lady looks different/less attractive than her showcase pics because they've been made to make her look more attractive than she truly is. It's a first impression let down right from the get go and we all know it. I'd personally rather see a well done selfie that's more indicative to what the woman looks like than a professionally done pic that's been edited to the point that it makes her look like a playboy model that in reality is no where near what she looks like on any given day. I want to know what I'm getting on any given day, not what I might be getting on her BEST day with all the makeup, etc.

Regarding marketing yourself, of course you want to put your best foot forward to attract attention and gain business. That goes without saying. But to market yourself with pics that aren't "truly you" can hurt you in the long run and your reviews will reflect that. Christ, if you want to get into the whole marketing thing, let's talk about how much it would cost you to do marketing research on how much you may or may not have made due to what kind of pics you've decided to post on your showcase. It could go either way and cost you more than you want to even think about. How many reviews have we seen where mongers make comments that the "pics are her, but she doesn't look as good in person?" In the long run, that's going to cause a person to lose business because you've actually posted a false advertisement and people end up disappointed the minute you open the door. As many have said, first impressions last forever and are hard to overcome if they're negative. Most of us are much happier when that door is opened and we say to ourselves, "damn, what a pleasant surprise, she's even better in person", rather than "who the fuck is this? She doesn't look anything like her pics".

To an extent, I was actually joking when I commented on Zgirl's post. I was in a mood and feeling frisky. So, if she decides to spend whatever amount of $$$ on a photo shoot, that's up to her, you go for it girl and do what you feel is best for you. Just keep in mind, this isn't fucking Vogue Magazine and when us mongers decide to take the plunge, what's behind door #1 better be what's been advertised, lol.

Usually ends up in frustration only if an individual decides to go with somebody that isn't trust worthy and has ulterior motives. An agreement should be agreed upon prior to between both parties. In writing if need be. And as always, research is your friend. She's in Dallas, I'm sure there are hundreds of reputable photographers in many different price ranges to choose from. The person that is getting the pics should get ALL of them, edited or not, unless they agree otherwise. And if the photographer doesn't get the "services" as you say that's agreed upon prior to, then that said photographer has a right to bitch as well. Whether it be financial or otherwise.

Are we not making more of this than it needs to be? She just wants some decent fucking pics taken for her showcase wtf
