Bartering

I don't have a car but what I do have is a very specific set of skills. Let's just say I'm extremely good with computers and if any ladies are interested I can show you how to move around on the net and not leave a footprint. How to secure all your digital devices and how to avoid ever being tracked.

For the guys, Hey a few beers and a some $$ and I can teach you the same stuff.

Just offering since someone talked about bartering.
Love the handle.

What do you think about private mode on the iphone and incognito mode with google chrome. I'm in private mode now, can you still access my IP address and my general location, (if so, please don't post that) a yes or no is acceptable.

Man, when I came back to the hobby I didn't recognize hardly anyone's handle. We may have to sit over a pizza, beer and talk about the glory days. Good to see a name I remember.
Anytime brother. There is some good beer around this town.
All of this private mode and 'incognito' mode that everyone is pushing is ok for a casual spouse looking at something. The problem is two-fold. Any image/text downloaded through a browser ends up on your machine. The private mode may 'delete' it when you leave the page but recovery software can bring it back. On the other-side, websites and email servers can easily log your ip address and that can be enough to get you in hot water. There are ways around both of them. It all depends on what level of safety you want.
Yep, what I thought, the equivent to having your history turned off---but likewise, it's a great and free benefit to most of us in being able to close a webpage and it's gone---I used to spend a lot of time just erasing my internet history.

I like to research the underground web,,(don't have the time to really be a part of it) but it is very interesting, the Silk Road servers and 'tor' and the use of bitcoins---that was a hugely under appreciated bust the FBI made on that, I remember when you went to that website the FBI had "SEIZED" plastered on it and the FBI emblem of 'don't fuck with us " right underneath it

It is cat n mouse, the good and the bad guys keep outsmarting each other---

In contrast, doesn't Nortan antivirus employ the group of hackers that create viruses--
There are multiple ways to protect yourself and leave nothing behind. Some are very easy to do. Some are complex but offer un-crackable protection
This sounds like something I need to know more about please!
I thought that knowledge might we worth something to someone. I've been thinking about some consulting about this issue. If you have some specific questions you can PM me. I was trying to think of someway to teach people.. maybe a remote desktop session with voice for a class or something when a provider is in my area or a brother wants to learn how to protect his digital trail.. Still kicking it all around.
