Bob Dylan has been around so long and his career has taken so many dips and turns it's really impossible to pigeonhole him in any way including his politics

My personal opinion is that he doesn't have any politics that run any deeper than his ability to make bank.

Every Grain of Sand is an unbelievable, transcendant song and a brilliant vocal performance.

His duet with Willie Nelson on Townes Van Zandt's Pancho and Lefty is other worldly.

Mississippi is an incredible song and Bob Dylan's voice fits it like a glove. Listen to the douchebag Dixie Chicks mangle their version of it if you really want to feel bad.
