UTR locations in SA

Hi all,

I'm thinking about visiting SA for a couple of days next month and am wondering where the best location that is UTR and kind of centrally located...

Thanks in advance!

Pretty much any upscale hotel around the airport will work for you.

Several ways to check hotel prices ... Priceline for sure, hotwire, orbitz, etc.

And if you are in town when we have our meet-n-greet a couple other rate specials to consider.

I just booked right with the hotel web site as it was then same as Priceline
and EXP
being a rearwards member and getting the points helps later on and
when you booked 3rd party the hotel will not give your points to you
but sometimes it wort it to book 3rd party to play less

Rewards programs are definitely the way to go, esp. when they make it easier to get a room, even if the room might cost a few dollars more.

But, on a recent trip out of state, the reservation web site effed up my travel plan. I called the reward program phone (I am platinum, btw) and reward rep offered me the place I wanted, but the price was way out of line! WAY!

I went back to the website a few minutes later and got my original destination 30 bucks a night lower than the rep offered. More than a C note difference.

btw, one of my (member) websites offered me rooms in Las Vegas at several higher end hotels as low as 37 bucks a nite. Rio hotel and several others. And the 37 was weekday and weekend specials were 57.

When you plan well ahead (like if you were gonna be in San Antonio toward the end of October HINT! HINT!) you can get rooms at 4 star properties -- even Riverwalk! -- in the less than 100 range. But you must look today and book today since no telling what prices might be closer to the arrival date. Really good pricing in the Airport and Medical Center area.

Remember, these are reservations that can be cancelled at no cost. I used Orbitz and Travelocity to figure some base pricing. No doubt Priceline and some other sites could offer even deeper discounts.

she said next month ...

I for one who tour for like 4-6 day's in one city I have to look for the
best price on rooms as hotel $ can ad up
along with air far ..

so EXP is my go to 99% of the time
but if I can get one of my rewards hotel for just a bit more ( that only be like $25 - 40$ and get the points so worth is and they give you a better room then when you book 3rd party ..
Price line best if know the area your going to if you bid on the hotel
when I go to Dallas I get the same 3 hotels for less then $100 a night
but I know what area to pick on the map ...and they are 4star
