I cannot fathom how our government has allowed this to happen at a time when so many have fallen into poverty and have lost their jobs. There simply are not enough jobs to go around, and even if you are lucky to obtain part-time work and pay rent, you still may need food stamps. Look at this article. Hundreds of unemployed people who can't find work are now cut off from food stamps!

Why I disagree with GOP values. They keep cutting safety nets when our economy is in chaos. Yet, they want to increase the budget for military and national security in areas where it's not even needed. It's immoral and uncompassionate. No wonder the majority of Americans won't vote GOP. The reason they are on food stamps is because wages have been stagnant since the mid-70's and jobs are scarce. Most are minimum wage jobs and/or only part-time. Get real. Maybe you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and/or got lucky, but many people were not. You are not living in the real world, like the 99%.

Maybe if there wasn't so much associated fraud, the people who need it would get it ... kinda like when Fauxcahontas Warren displaced a genuine Native American for a Harvard minority-quota position.
