Some amuzing thoughts re: National threads

GREETINGS....this is the first thread I have ever started, and it probably will go no where...but what the heck!

I was wondering how many folks take the time to read the various National threads? I started doing so a couple of weeks ago. By in large I have found them to be anywhere from light hearted and funny to some that were very interesting reads.

Well recentyly, in the Men's National forum a couple of threads appeared, that I had to throw my 2cents in (not worth a penny more!).



Made Men's Lounge info 'Private'....Any mention of Mens Lounge or ROS information is not permitted. This keeps it simple, we don't have to have discussions about how 'damaging' the info is....its just plain not allowed. Simple. LaCrew

I really just chuckle at the PM's, was tempted to respond to couple of them...but basically just deleted them.

So I guess, the purpose of this thread (FINALLY) is two fold.

1) Wondering how many of you read the National stuff...despite what I said above, there is some good stuff there.

2) Just saying its nice that our local thread...although it does have its occasional drama...does not fall to the level of accusing someone as being straight or bi. And also not playing the childish game of saying my "you know what" is bigger than yours.

Any thoughts?

1. Kansas would have a better reputation if they would stop doing things like teaching creationism in schools.

2. You probably not supposed to be outing convos from the men's lounge.

3. If you think there is no childishness in local threads I would recommend taking another look.

4. I read a lot of the national forums, and every time there is an interesting discussion it gets taken over with ads/pics/flirting. Not worth the time after a while.

First off...sorry no intention of outing convos in mens lounge. Forgot it was in that section. Hopefully since I did not get specific I did not break any rules. But if so...sorry mods!

And to add to what SillyGirl says...how about our backward legal stance on strip clubs in Missouri...which I guess Kansas is also looking into

I peek over now and again, but I find that they go off track really fast and it usually isn't worth they hassle to wade through so much crap to get a little good info. I rarely skim past the first page.

The reality is this board was started by and run by and mostly for Texans. They think they created hobbying and we fuck goats for recreation. I don't waste my time on them.

Of course you broke the rules. I would guess since you ratted yourself out about it that the comments will be edited to PRVT and you will get a slap on the wrist. But everyone should try to think about privacy and discretion before posting.

Ohh please...yes I mistakenly referred to something in the Men's forum.

It was an honest mistake, that won't happen again.

But there were no direct quotes, just a general discusson of some overgrown kiddies
trading childish exchanges. No ones privy has been comprimised.

Omahan, I DID NOT rat myself out....lossen up for gosh sakes. As soon as I was aware of my mistake I simply own up to it.

If I deserve a slap on the wrists from the mods, I will trust their judgement.

Don't feel bad. I was curious about that one as well.

Never thought of conversation.

I do read some of the national forums along with some of the other city forums that are out there. I will say this much we are a lot more calm and considerate to one another than some of the other areas (I won't mention the cities but I am sure some of you know which ones I am talking about). With that being said I do enjoy reading them for the drama and some of the threads have been very entertaining. I remember not too long ago the KC board was more active with a lot of fun threads and discussions and I understand that the crappy weather gave some of cabin fever but I do hope that we get back to that amount of participation on our nice board here.

Not a typo. There are two words that I habitually shorten, people (peeps) and conversation (convo). Left over from a forum I was on for a very long time lol. In large part because both of those words are irritating to type because of the difference in speed between the typing of my left and right hands.
