I don't know but have some plausible thoughts. First it is a second account held by the performer. She tips herself and plays on the machoism mindset to get others to "compete". Second the guy is afraid of legal ramifications in the hobby and naive enough that they actually get to meet them from "date raffles". Third is they actually to get to be with them or get a personal connection in rare circumstances. I actually witnessed a large tip and the host acted generally surprised.
