I have personally worked in:
-Energy Corridor
-Galleria (I'd try to stay outside the loop though)
-Westchase
And done good in all of them, if I didn't have an incall now I would probably also try the Bay Area at least one day on the weekend or every other weekend.
Hope that helps a little.
Hobby safe!
Everything Natalia mentioned is correct. There have also been some who have done well in...
The Heights/Montrose area
North Houston/Spring
NRG Stadium/Med Center
Clear Lake/Webster
Sugarland/Stafford/Missouri City
Sugar Land has been good for me
Thanks everyone!!
Every suggestion helps!
I'm working on a tour for next week.
I've only been in the NRG area.
Which wasn't bad, but I like to move around!
290 in 2017 when they get finished with the damn construction.
Plenty of good quality hotels and notels and mongers that would not drive to the galleria if uber was free.

The Galleria and Westchase areas are accessible to the most Hobbyists. There is a reason all of the Agencies are located there. Lots of Indys, too. But also, more competition because of that.
I rarely venture outside the southwest area. I10, beltway 8 and 59 is my hobby triangle.
Based on occasional mental notes on ISOs, energy corridor/Katy seems to get a lot of requests lately.
