No, No, No, No 1/2 Hour Appointments!

I'm not sure what is going on but I have gotten more 1/2 hour appointment requests in the past 7-10 days then I use to get in a entire year.

For the record I do not offer 1/2 hour appointments. I never have and never will.

For me there are quite a few reasons:

1. Too much traffic
2. Too many showers
3. Too much time setting up and getting everything ready
4. Too rushed
5. Too cheap


These are just a few reasons, but they are my main reasons. I am doing the same amount of work, for 1/2 the rate, with double the traffic.

I honestly can't think of one reason to offer 1/2 hour appointments that would benefit me. I can see how some men can find them attractive and that is fine for them, which is why many providers offer them, however I am not one of them, so please stop with the 1/2 hour requests. Just contact a lady that offers them.

To be honest, one 1/2 hour appointment does not even cover my incall expenses when I take my rent and divide it by 16 (the amount of days per month I plan on working). Then I add in oils, lubes, candles, condoms, laundry wash, water, drinks. Hell at that point I'm working just to cover my work expenses, I'm not even breaking even!

No 1/2 hrs. for me either. I'm usually just getting revved up good at the 1/2 hr. mark. I prefer "Slow And Easy" to "Off To The Races". Some have mentioned that 1/2 hr. appointments are good for that quick lunch break.

I hate the idea of 1/2 hour, so have never asked for one but with the prolonged effect that oil prices are having on Houston, expect more of it.

I prefer an hour - will do half hours out of necessity, find BNG to be a complete waste - might as well - rub one out and save the cash.

I have done it many,many time, and contrary to your belief it works out perfectly for an outcall to me.. Guys do it because they do NOT want to invest $250 and then do not click and have a shitty time..

I concur with your reasons, too much rush, not enough fun. Don't feel like you have to sell yourself cheap, so to speak. Some guys are wired this way but not all. For some it's like a "body sneeze" and want it done as quickly and inexpensive as possible. For others they like to stretch out the moment and savior it. At the end of the day, both parties need to set their standards and stick to them. IMHO longer sessions with a lower volume provider is my goal.

@ Brooke Wilde - why don't you leave 30 min sessions as part of your 'hustle change' strategy when and if business ever gets kinda slow. You don't have to advertise it to the board but you could offer it to your regulars as part of some kind of quickie special for those who need to occasionally eat on the go.

I don't get quite as many requests for such as you Brooke, but I do get them more than in past times.

I personally feel like that is because things like bng and car dates are now a big thing. I don't remember seeing such advertised as widely back when I first started (2008-2010, or in the aspd days.)

But yes, I agree with you 100%. I have never, nor will I ever provide a quickie or half hour sesh; it's even more impractical when it comes to a fbsm sesh!

For most of these tards there is little left for them to do after the first 15 minutes.

Oil business has slowed down considerably. The guys don't have a whole lot of money for the hobby. Also, thirty minutes is kind of the norm for a lot of the guys in Houston in terms of keeping it up.

There are many variables but my general advice to the ladies is to not limit their hustle change opportunities. Most providers no matter how successful have a little black book of potential 'sales coupons' for a rainy or slow day. So the offering could be non-advertised, time sensitive, with a specific focus tailored for regulars. So depending on each providers personal business model open advertising of certain sales / offerings to the general public may not work so well. However, BCD for established regulars is a different thing but again there are many variables at play.

Interesting topic.Food for thought. I think 1/2 apts are mostly requested based on the following:
1. Some are 1 shot johns and why pay for hour when you likely can't have second round anyway.
2. Generally speaking, its a matter of value. Rates seem higher these days and perhaps 1/2 allows johns to see their preferred ladies with a typical $$$ or $$$$ rate for a little less. Above applies here too.
3. Many of us have crazy schedules and 1/2 simply works better due to lack of time.

I personally prefer slow and passionate which requires more time but it is still a matter of value.

I do hhr/snacks sometimes, primarily with those I have met before. It feels rushed for sure, but sometimes people are either in a rush, on their lunch hr or that's all they need, to find bliss.
