IMHO
I'd like to know where they get the percentages. I mean, HOW can one come up with a percentage on such an industry anyway? ...
I would not be surprised if some of the numbers they are coming up with are street gals who have been busted, then busted at face book as well. THAT would give them some legitimacy to the numbers presented, "albethem" incorrect on an overall scale.
ex. 50 street gals busted in March in a particular locale... April then reports 30 of those same women busted again, but this time via FaceBook. Ta dah! A percentage!! lolol
I feel that most professionally oriented escorts are on discussion boards, and well known hobby sites.
I believe a lot of articles we stumble upon are more of the "OMG!! HOOKERS ON FACEBOOK" write ups. What an atrocity!! Hurry! Report it!
Well, the fact is, it exists and has for ages... We tend to hear about it more when it hits a public area....
I feel Many Americans Vote Religion, and Feign Horror when we see these Non Moral Ads at Public Places like FB, BP, CL, etc
Also:
I wouldn't want my children stumbling upon an escort at FB; A site that is so very socially accepted!
Again, I think sometimes, Americans can be very hypocritical.
"Oh yes, legalize and tax it!
But don't let us see it in our communities......."
Personally, I don't want to see places like FB, CL, BP, etc, having adult ads. I don't approve, for the overall sake of youngsters' viewing. I don't want a strip club in my immediate home area. I don't want a brothel next to my church.
I believe many "prostitutes" using FB are new, and may eventually find other sources, like dating sites, CL, BP, and THEN an entirely adult oriented community. (That is, if they can stick with the business long enough...)
I think the same goes for a man. If the man is single and still at occasional friendly scenes, then adult ads at BP, CL, FB, AFF may be great for him.
A very busy single man may have to go with agencies/e-com, etc
A married man succumbing to the hobby might eventually locate communities like Eccie or a great provider from one of the more discreet internet site.
BTW
I enjoyed that movie, the social Network, or whatever it was called. It reminded me of my own individual growth through Timex Sinclair 1000, TRS 80, Atari, cassettes, and yes, even vinyl and 8 tracks.
I thought it was quite funny considering I am an online escort. A pioneer, in fact, for the upstate community. I remember feeling SOOOO behind the times when I first came on line. I mean, WOW ASPD gals outdated my online experience by far!!!
