Curiously Inquiring... Ladies do you prefer "Management" or "Independence"?

Odd title I know but I am seriously inquiring...Ladies which do you prefer? I know a lot of ladies has been under management, whether it be agency,a fellow escort or even a pimp...I know more that manage themselves... I am not here to pass judgment only to be completely honest about all of my experiences dealing with agency management,co-working with a fellow escort and being independent.

I have not been in the hobby business long so prior to this ,I was/am an exotic dancer. I was working stage doubles at that time with an escort/dancer,and she honestly showed me a glimpse of the "Hobby". I tried it for about three months, but between working with her, the rates and the security issues I left our partnership and began to venture out on my own. Working with someone has it's perks as far as security and companionship in a profession built around being someone else's companion. I disliked feeling as if I was on someone else's time schedule... I do not feel as if I should have to hobby everyday to see a Decent income... I can honestly manage $3000 a week on casual dates but being around someone who wants me to work 7 days a week just to HELP with their life expenses is more than an insult to me, especially when they aren't pulling the same amount of weight as me!!! I had to leave that situation immediately...

Once I began working for myself, I noticed my money and my clientele increasing. Managing my time was a bummer but I was able to set a "weekly" quota I was comfortable with and not have to feel as if I was "OVERWORKING" myself for an income that "I" was comfortable with and could manage... I do not Hobby to screw as many guys as I can for profit,I Hobby to gain networking connections and to build real professional friends/acquaintances...

I do not plan on "Hobbying" myself for a long term, within the next year or two I plan on owning my own adult novelty store, and Upscale Escort Agency. I have learnt from both sides of the line that a woman is capable of being managed as long as limits are respected,and there is professionalism present... I plan to one day bridge the gap between those two without the woman feeling exploited but motivated to progress into another level of the Adult Entertainment Industry...

I value your feedback and stories of fellow experiences...

Once again this is not me passing judgement or bashing or EVEN me trying to expose anyone... I just know I'm not the only one who has pondered this over more than once..

It seems like you answered your own question. For me, I can't see it any other way besides me managing myself...

I think some ladies would prefer agencies/pimp for the same reason. They provide your clients and venues for you, instill discipline to insure your still loyal, take about half your earning while they do all the grunt work, and when or if you get arrested they disassociate themselves away from you. The agencies don't hit the ladies or abuse them.......cept in the pocketbook......

Some ladies need agencies. Because they are not organized enough. Then they don't recognize the money lost because it's still easy money. An independent knows her worth is determined by regulars and rep. Agencies filter ladies in and out all the time based on their track records......ur more disposable. They can afford to lose you.

I will say an Agency will lose more money and take a bigger fall.Look what is happening with Backpage CEO right now.$500,000 bail with felony charges.Agencies take more of a chance.They lucky if they make $75 for each call "if" the girl turns in her Agency fee.The agency loses money if she steals clients and will see him as a regular.All that money spent on advertising,paying someone to answer the phone lines,photo shoots,hotel fess for girls that come into town and need help getting started is lost.

This is a very thoughtful response. I truly appreciate your perspective on this subject. I worked for an agency years ago when I first got started, but have been independent since getting back into it last year. Working for yourself, no matter the business, seems like the ideal set up if you are an organized person.

Well I can honestly say that I work independently have I worked with someone before yes but it was a fellow escort I was simply inquiring for other women as well as myself who has been through different situation dealing with the Hobby you do have a point but when I speak on having an agency I want to sort of be like a switchboard a safe Link Between the client and the lady like a personal secretary only on a slightly bigger scale

I can say there is good and bad on both sides.
But I am a very organized lady so being on time was/is paramount to my business.
Some ladies cannot be on time for anything. You can set up a call for them and set it up to be an hour in advance of the real time they are supposed to be on the call, and they are still late showing up for the said appt. (said an agency owner to me).

It is one thing to be fashionably late versus being just plain irresponsible enough to show up on time.

I am always on time for everything. Even in my real life business.

I have worked independently as well as for an agency. Agencies can be helpful to girls who are just getting started, no P, but yet, still someone who has her back to a certain extent. That's what I did. I also worked for a big agency that had a solid base in Chicago and I banked $$$$$$ off that for about a year. It's always nice to have options.

Prefer ones that have not come round just to steal clients they are to lazy or broke to go find themselves. I find it amazing that at least half the women here have also applied here. Then steal...realize how amazingly enough summer comes or the wonderful men they claimed from us. Got bored. Got them broke. Suddenly annie is the next best thing to sliced bread. Of course never enters their mind that i also have a family. And find stealing a fu king thief no matter how ya took it. Pretty sad. I must say i had girls that stayed forever. This newer group last 5 years or so are arrogant and actually believe what the men say. Lol. Ummm...its just till the next "best thing comes round " believe me..i have seen it for longer then any of ya been working. On the other hand. Thieves and junkies get no support from me and mine. And they all say we do nothing. My easiest day on life was laying on my back. Smiling and listening to how pretty.
