That's easy.... The best BBQ place in SA is B&B smoke house . Don't let this hole in the wall establishment fool you. They have the best brisket in town!
Mine. Just kidding. I like bibs on Austin hwy, very consistent.

The BBQ station (near the airport) is a must....don't forget to get the dessert...the cobbler is life!!

Agree on Smokeshack on Broadway - the best ribs!.
Also Two Bros BBQ on West is really good.
Smokin Joes on Weidner has loaded BBQ baked potato on Thursdays and BBQ frito pie on Tuesdays...MMMMMMM

Smoke Shake on Broadway is yummy.. Stay away from Bill Miller BBQ.

For those voting for two brothers....this makes me sad, super over priced mediocre bbq... travel to Lockhart and eat the good stuff!

Leah. Unfortunately, most BBQ joints in S.A. are mediocre at best. To get the absolute best you need to travel to Lockhart, as previously mentioned, where there are three excellent establishments, or to Luling and eat at The City Market, my personal fav, to Austin at Franklin's, or on up the road a bit to Llano for Cooper's. Whatever your choices, in or out of town, good eating.
