Gone but not Forgotten!!!

Does anybody miss N. Ala's Royal Spa?? I do, and I only visited there a handful of times. But the convenience of it always being open and available is truly missed. Table showers, omg... what an experience. Those are a lost art in Ala now. Not to mention AMP's have some of the best masseuse's around. Plus, you just never knew what hand you would be dealt, in providers(what was offered, how they looked, etc). The language barrier was always present, but it's amazing how determination for satisfaction can overcome anything!! I always worried I'd bump into someone I knew there, or they would put someone awkwardly in the sauna with me. Lol. I Always got nervous when the doorbell rang, afraid a LEO raid was coming. But oh, how I do miss the memories and the activities.

Anybody else miss the place or have any thoughts?

Never visiited Royal, but I know a lot of guys are bemoaning the closure of several good AMPs. Guys in MS are still singing the blues about JJs. Mobile had a couple of good ones close, too. Good AMPs definitely have their place in the hobby.

I pass the bldg twice a day and occassionally think of all the time I spent there - my first foray into hobbying was the local AMPs, and Royal was around the longest.

Partially I'm amazed at how the place has been shut down for a year and it still has the RS sign in front.

I'm like gimme in that I've never been to an AMP. I tried a massage parlor in Arizona in the late 80's and left less than satisfied. Went back to strip clubs and lap dances for about 10 years till discovering the hobby and the ability to know what to expect with verified ladies.

Guess I have similar feelings for some strip clubs that I no longer visit. Good memories of days gone by.

Those were some great strip club experiences!! I've been to several over the years but never really got much out of it. I obviously enjoy my hobbying experiences more now, than any other vice I have. But TigerHobby mentioned it correctly, with strip clubs. Ladies, strippers, providers, take NOTE!!! What's missing is "Game" and "Presentation"!!! How often we hear of subpar reviews, because actions were methodical or she just stripped naked, etc. Most guys are looking for an EXPERIENCE, not just sex. Most guys are willing to see providers, strippers, more often or regularly if the experience factor is there. Most guys are out looking for that because it's somehow been forgotten about or list on the home front.
That's a lot of info for a post on a long gone AMP, but great hobby chatter.
