In the airport...

I had a little adventure last week to Maryland. After an amazing time the return plane was damaged and it took 7 1/2 hours to fix.

While there and people watching, I found myself wondering who else was hobby related. I clearly looked homeless as I was up at 4:30 and no make up n leggings (no one would have recognized me, if you did I appologize). I was in BWI and at least 7 of my fellow travelers were trying to get back to Huntsville...

I did see gents that I was sure were hobbiest and some I wished were. An older, distinguished, well dressed man just does it for me... I have a thing for smart men. Now you know my attraction to the Rocket City...
ANYWAY...
I think there should be a way we acknowledge one another so we can pass the time with fun conversations about adventures during the wait... Maybe ECCIE could make us a board for 'stuck travelers'.

What about you? Do you people watch and try to figure out who does what? Is there a way you approach someone if you think they are part of the 'extended family'?
I've kind of taken to wondering this whenever I'm at a hotel anywhere. Not so much the clients, but definitely eyeballing the ladies that may happen to be there.
I've wondered plenty of times about ladies I see but would never have the balls to try and find out.

I was in a Greyhound station traveling once and a woman was sitting next to me talking on the phone and she said something about being a Dallas ho. I thought about sitting by her on the bus but decided against it.
I think this is a neat thought and have wondered many times when traveling myself. A ring,-a sign, or a pendent that is common only to hobbiest. Im a member of 2 different groups that do just that ,a way to know someone in the same group no matter where you are. A special type of ink pin in the pocket or on the shirt . Believe it or not i can tell a member in our group by the glasses or sun glasses their wearing, we do have a way ,and it works for girls or guys. Ink pins can be clipped to a ladies hand bag or jacket. Theres to many ideas to mention.

I have spent many days in airports around the US waiting and watching the passengers. I too have wondered about the ladies that were getting on my planes. Back a few years ago, I was at BWI and there was a young lady that was sitting next waiting for our flight back home. We struck up a conversation, discussed business ideas and other stuff. I've taken that same flight many times and really never thought that she might be involved in the business. Fast forward.. about a month later, I found her profile in P411. WOW that was unexpected.

I have seen ladies in Tampa, Baltimore, Denver, and Detroit getting on planes that looked familiar. Would have been nice to know that they were part of our little club.
The reality is I took this trip with a local hobbiest... For obvious reasons we did not take the same flight out of Huntsville, we arrived at the same airport and planned leaving within an hour of each other...

While he was in business attire and me looking homeless just out of bed, I am curious what others thought seeing us together. We do enjoy the looks when we make comments about stripper money or sugar daddy in public. It's fun when no one really knows you.

Even more fun is the fantasies I had in the airport about seducing fellow travelers and telling him about the adventure he missed.

So... Do we start carrying a specific pen? Tying a colored rope to my purse, much like the leather community uses colored bandannas. We could just keep living in the fantasy and wondering who?

So who else was on BWI to ATL Friday @ 7:30 when they put us off the plane...

And Gents... Thanks for sharing your own stories...

As one who has traveled quite a bit over the last 30+ years, I have noticed a few ladies from the hobby in airports; either I recognized them, or usually just picked them out. First, most traveling ladies that fly do so in the morning. That way, they can get to their destination and be ready for afternoon/evening play. I used to have long morning layovers in Charlotte and would almost always see at least one lady I thought was a provider.

Regrettably, I've never been on a flight to my final destination with a lady that I thought was a provider. Would be interesting to see if we could start up a conversation and screen each other right there; trade eccie or P411 handles or something. I guess I can keep hoping ....
I've seen a couple providers out in public that I have been with through the years. Saw one on two different occasions but I was with my family both times. However, I wouldn't have approached them any way not knowing who she was with. We did make eye contact though and later when asked, she did know who i was. I ran into another one in a hotel elevator at the beach. Yes again, family was there but not on the elevator with me. We did speak. She asked if she knew me, stressed KNOW when she asked. I told her who I was. She raised an eyebrow but I had to inform her of my situation. Did get up with her the following week though.
I was also fortunate enough to sit next to a well known porn star on a flight back from Miami. She was wearing little to no makeup. Funny thing is just a few days earlier I was checking out on google what some of the porn stars look like without makeup. Or at least without their camera makeup. Waiting to board the plane I knew she looked familiar. I thought I had figured it out and googled the same site. Not saying a word, guess who I sat next to on the plane? So we casually speak. Seemed friendly enough and she was being sarcastic about some dude sitting in front of us. I kinda like that personality anyway. I chuckled. We get in the air and I show her the pic I had on my phone of her. She placed her finger over her mouth and winked. I just gave her a thumbs up and nodded. After that, we enjoyed almost an hr conversation about different stuff. Nice chick.

In all my years I've seen only two times a provider out in the real world. One was clerking in an Adult Bookstore (I was there to pick up a magazine for a friend. Yeah, that's it...a friend.) and the other just randomly came into the university library one day many years ago. I'm supposing she was a student also but she was with a much older looking 'student.' Hmmm. I'm sure it was her supervising professor.

Perhaps, Heidi, what we need is an ECCIE Geofencing app that can be turned on voluntarily to notify us when others from the 'family' are in the vicinity. Might be fun. Waze does it!
An App... I could get behind that... Might ought to trademark that as it sounds like an incredible idea... Dang, wish it would have been mine...
Isn't that like the Badoo app?
