This board really needs an "Available Now" forum. A place where providers and hobbyists that may have a sudden schedule change can go and see if someone is available nearby.

A Short Term Availability Ad Thread is an OPTIONAL Thread that may be posted at the Moderators discretion.
They are only effective when EVERYONE complies with the Guidelines posted for that Thread.
In NOLA, the Thread was started, and the Guidelines were written by a Provider and are so vague and loosely worded that it extremely difficult to moderate.
This type of thread only serves as an additional area for posting ads, and does not meet the description of a Short Term or Short Notice availability Thread.
In the Arkansas forums, we suspended the Short Term Ads Thread as the Membership could not / would not comply with the Thread Guidelines.
The South Texas Forums had a Short Notice Thread and it was suspended due to the Membership not being able to comply with the Guidelines published.
In Oklahoma, the Short Term Availability Thread is relatively trouble free.
In reality, a Short Notice Availability Ad Thread would be /should be limited so that only the Providers can post in that thread.
Providers are permitted to post ads in only 2 locations on the board:
On the Staff side of things, having a Short Term Ad Thread greatly increases the amount of time needed to properly Moderate the Forum each day.
There have been several discussions on this topic in the Staff Area of the Board.
Most members of Staff Moderate more than 1 Forum.
vicinms moderates MS, AL, NC, SC, VA and WV.
In my case, I moderate AL, AR, OK and SO. TX.
This topic has been discussed by vicinms and myself, and neither of us feel that we have the additional time needed to properly Moderate this optional thread.

The available now thread works on the New Orleans board and only providers can post to it. However the Nola board has way more moderators.
Us fools who wait until the last minute to get "that" itch scratched the thread comes in handy and of course I wouldn't want to be the one to monitor the thread.

While I normally plan my dates well in advance, there are times when an available now board would come in mighty handy. Such as when life happens and a provider's schedule changes, or travel is interrupted. Some of my best dates have been last minute unplanned sessions where the planned date fell through for whatever reason.
So, would encourage the mods to consider an trail run for AL.

I love the available now thread for nola, a lot of times I will post my ad a few days before I plan to arrive but then it gets pushed down ad more ladies advertise, so it has helped me in the past to let gentleman know I'm available now in a certain place, but we can only post ONE TIME in 12 hours and we MUST BE AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF POSTING. I have seen ladies abuse that in the past and not be available but it seems some of the gentleman would rather not post an iso due to the responses he gets for several days or just not the type of lady he was looking for.
Sadly for alabama there are no subgroups such as birmingham, mobile , huntsville so it does make things a little difficult. But this is just my personal opinion on the subject.
