Dumb question that I should know...

Ladies.
Every once in a while there will be this comment in a review. She open the door looking beautiful & after a LEO check I relaxed.... or something like that.
What exactly is a LEO check? At one time I thought is was a form of groping or letting one's hands wander, but now I am not so sure.

I'm not an expert on Alabama laws, but in my opinion the old Leo check is an urban legend. I have read several posts in other states refuting the fact that Leo can't "expose or touch" genetalia, theirs or the providers. Some of the posts actually have been about stings where the UC actually got completely naked and services were just about to begin when the call sign came for the bust.
I faintly recall a year or so ago in other forums where services had actually began before the sting net closed, I can't remember where it was, but it was and has been discussed on this board before.
If you are dealing with someone that does the "Leo" check, you are running the risk of getting nailed because a VP does her homework on you before she sees you, I would recommend you do the same homework to avoid an embarrassing situation. Good luck and be safe. dj8

Thanks for the info. I am very involved with screening process when I do decide to see someone new. If a lady doesn't want to screen I generally don't see them.

1. If properly done.....the provider hugs you at the door. A lingering hug with semi frisky hands looking intently for wires........

2. Also if properly done she may kiss you right on the lips if she's gfe. A cop may be withdrawn from doing this to avoid health risk to his own family, or to maintain separate jurisdiction and protocal state to state.

Never done a LEO check and wouldn't know how. Never felt the need. I always research the lady and stay off BP. Simple.

I can't recall ever seeing a BP lady.

In reality I think the girls are probably familiar with what local law enforcement can and can't do, or at least will or won't do. I lived once in a smaller, conservative community that wasn't historically aggressive on pursuing prostitution charges. I saw a lady there and she did the 'drop the drawers' check. I've never again had it happen and suspect that in larger cities it wouldn't mean a thing. But who knows.

I've had some ladies greet me at door with a kiss, some a hug, on occasion had crotch grabbed, a few placed my hands on their breast. All excellent ways to aid in breaking the ice and tone setting.
However, I typically chew gum or need to use the restroom, giving me a moment to look it over. With first time meetings I have peaked in a few closets. Once the door is locked and dead bolted, I usually feel OK. Im not messing with ladies that have pimps or thugs, but I always worry about someone jumping out. Maybe that's my own paranoia.
If my enevelope hasn't been exchanged and nothing discussed, I always feel safe? Nothing has been solicited? Am I right or wrong on that?

My experience is similar to Woodford's - I have not felt the need for a LE check. I stay off of BP and do my research here and on ThE otheR board. I also verify and schedule using P411. Paddy, if it is a sting and you are already in the room, you are screwed even if nothing occurs. If you read some of the thread on the Security section, it highlights the fallacies of the LE check.

I'm nervous as hell when I knock on that door. Usually though, you can tell right away if things are ok. One black chick I saw answered the door with nothing on but a robe. Another girl I saw had on lingerie but no panties. Another girl answered the door in a bikini with one of her boobs hanging out. If the answer the door fully clothed and no sign of getting it on, then I say "oh sorry, wrong room". Luckily I have never had to do that. I would rather do incall anyway.

A few years back, I contacted this girl on craigslist. made arrangements to meet at her an hour later at her room. She told me the hotel and room number. So, I got there about 30 minutes early to scout out the location. Luckily it was a two story hotel with door to the outside. I parked and sat to scout the area out for curious behavior. It was quiet til about 10 minutes til. A car pulled up and two men got out and went inside the room next door, another suv pulled up with some people inside and two females. That's when I bolted. they didn't think anything of me cause I was already there when they arrived, so all they knew was I was staying there.

One good thing about being in law school, it was very easy for me to find and memorize almost all of the Alabama laws pertaining to the hobby. This is why I meet all Appt. at the door in nightie without bottoms and insist on a good kiss upon entering my room. any ladies or gents that would like info feel free to Pm me.

Honestly, LEO checks do not work, so it's much better to rely on verifying references. As long as I've verified references, I've never had issues at all. You be suprized what cops can get away with, whether legal or not. They do not always use a cop, and the same rules do not apply to informants.
I've known of ladies to get busted after a date.
