This may sound silly,but I am looking for a good old fashioned meat market....
Where can i buy fresh meat in Nola or westbank???
Are there any meat markets left anymore??

also Teranova's on Esplanade ave. has a great butcher counter and they make their own sausage.

Dorginac's is a grocery but they do have an old school butcher with great product.

think rare cuts might be what you are looking for though.

I know it may sound stupid. But Sam's has a couple of butchers as well as a lot of fresh meat in the meat case. They have by far the best filet mignons you can find anywhere. And the prices are good too. 4 really nice filets in the 30 dollar range, for the quality you can't beat it.

I was really looking for a country meat market that processed game meat and/or made their own sausage....It can be in any small town withen 30 minutes from Nola

Dallas their are two places in La Place right on airline they smoke the meats in the back

When you come to Baton Rouge, there are a few places around here that you can get some great meat that you can take back to NOLA with you.
