More than 50,000 marched. And I'm certain some of us were among them.

Democracy in action.

Peaceful. Strong. Loud.

American.

And accomplished what? Nothing.
By all means, though. Keep up the good work of annoying and inconveniencing people.
Families out on a Saturday afternoon really enjoy those public obscenities. Yes, sir!
You'll eventually turn the rest of those blue counties red.

"Peaceful protests are a hallmark of our democracy. Even if I don't always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views."

This was a tweet from the president about the Women's March On Washington, for which more people showed up than showed up for his inauguration.

What did they accomplish? For one thing, they made it clear that the majority of voters who didn't vote for Trump are still here.

Everybody in this country has the God given right to make an ass of themselves in public. That's for sure.

The OP has made it into an art form.

Reports are that the women's march in Austin was peaceful, participants were well-behaved, and no arrests were reported. If I'd known that Wendy Davis was speaking there, I might have gone myself.

As usual, I found it hard to argue with her logic.

I didn't tell her I secretly love pretty, young, free and skinny Mexican and Asian lesbians who like threesomes with her grandfather. Need to know basis.

In short, it was just bunch of people of all shapes, sizes, colors, and ages.

Some of the signs were provocative. "DON'T GRAB MY PUSSY!' seemed to be a popular theme. "RESPECT EVERYONE PERIOD," "KEEP YOUR POLICIES OFF MY BODY," "MY UTERUS, MY RULES," "VIVA LA VULVA," "OUR RIGHTS ARE NOT UP FOR GRABS," "GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS," "MY BODY MY CHOICE, RICH OR POOR," and "DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK 300 YEARS".

But I haven't seen any footage or seen any reports of people shouting obscenities. And what if they did? Trump supporters, and even Trump himself, are fond of shouting obscenities. It could be a common point for the two sides to unite around.
Trump did it again!
Was Hillary there? I understand she has some free time available. Hahahahaha!!
