Mary Tyler Moore RIP

The earliest "crush" I can recall from my youth is gone...and I am heartbroken. Iconic, beloved comedic actress, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away today (complications from diabetes I believe was reported).

What a remarkable career....Laura Petrie on the Dick Van Dyke Show, early 60's....then Mary Richards on the Mary Tyler Moore Show in the 70's....I suppose I could go on but most of you know of her success.

Rest in Peace, Mary....

Thank you for posting this. Yes, very sad indeed. For those of us that were around in the 70's, the Mary Tyler Moore show was a big deal. That was 1970's prime time stuff, and pretty funny too. And although the Dick van Dyke show precedes me, I'll never forget watching the young and gorgeous "Laura Petrie".

Remember the MTM episode when Chuckles the Clown got "shelled" by a rogue elephant. One of the funniest sitcom episodes ever.
