Spring is here and nice weather, to be out and about even if it is just a walk with my dog, it helps to be in shape to enjoy the most of it. So I was wondering are there any types that are better for sex -- for me, her & both. I already have high blood pressure problems so some type of cardio is on the list, but to be honest I am way too much of a couch potato and really don't like to work out so I thought what better reward than better sex to help out with my goal.
Swimming is good too. How about doing some laps in a pool then some sex in the water

Fishguy,

From what you describe you may be a good candidate to try some tai chi. I've practiced it on and off and there are mental and physical benefits and you can achieve them without extreme exertion. Unless you want it to happen, you can practice this art without ending up in a sweaty, gasping, pile on the floor.

For tai chi, google and find a local class or two. Call them. They tend to allow you to watch a class and talk to you about it for no charge.

With regards to the nice weather, many instructors will hold classes outside when appropriate. Plus, you can practice on your own outside at will.

Here is an example of health improvements I observed for one of my tai chi classmates: She was in her mid-60's and had moderate arthritis in one hip and ankle. Not completely debilitating but she limped on some days. After 6 months of tai chi a few classes each week, she could balance on that leg and was nearly pain free.

It's not for everyone as it is simply not a match for some folks' personality. But, it has bona fide health benefits and I imagine it might improve your blood pressure. It might be a good stepping stone to build some base fitness.

Good luck in your pursuit.
