Question for the Gents? And the Ladies?

Gents - What percentage of hobbyists do you think are in the hobby because of the spice of variety? I personally suspect this number to be fairly high.

Ladies - What are your thoughts on a Provider getting mad at a Client for wanting to see another Provider and refusing to provide a reference? I personally think it is a double disrespect. 1. She's refusing to assist her newbie client to get established in the hobby.
2. She's refusing to assist her fellow Provider in staying safe in this industry. As well as .... your thoughts???

know that you ask for references but

To answer your question slayde I would say it's 50/50. Some for different experiences and the others for $$

85% money/support certain material lifestyle, 15% alternative lifestyle variety

Variety is always crucial. Hard to be with only 1 woman.

I am 100% reference friendly (giving & receiving) and want to make that disclaimer before I get to my problem with number 2.

It is NOT the responsibility of another provider to keep you safe. That is YOUR job. Reference exchange imo is just good manners and can be nice and helpful.....to a degree (we all know sometimes a client can be great to 1 lady and a dick to the next). But it's a courtesy not a right.
It's tacky if the provider I ask for a ref check from doesn't respond but I don't care because I have other ways to screen .... another ho won't stop my dough lol.

The client should probably also know about the unresponsive provider so he can avoid wasting his time trying to use her in the future (and probably avoid seeing her in the future too).

In ways, I do agree with Mocha that a provider doesn't have to respond to a reference request. But I think unless she clearly states that to her clients on the front end before they book a date with her, it is disingenuous and downright disrespectful.

The way I see it, the only reason reference withholding escorts aren't transparent with their clients about the fact that they do not give references and instead wait until the moment he is trying to set up a date with someone else is because they know it may affect the clients decision to even see them at all.

This goes back to the first portion of the (maybe self-snitching ) original post. Why would one who seeks to share space with different providers for the purpose of fulfilling various fantasies want to do so with a jealous and petty client-hoarding-ho who will actively undermine his attempts to branch out and engage with other providers? Who is out here trying to pay good money for possessive behavior?

I mean I left out it's sneaky (and shady) as fuck for a provider to not clearly state in her ads on profiles that she does not give references (or doesn't participate in the reference system AT all (not even giving them). BUT I definitely think they should be very transparent about that (just like race/age policies etc).
HOWEVER lol I think they already know a lot of prospective clients esp newbies ones would stay away as soon as they saw that (as they probably should).

IMO if a provider doesn't give refs either because she is busy or hoarding a client, I could give a rats ass about it. There are other avenues for verification. I wouldn't depend on the word of a stranger to confirm my safety.
