all star games...... does anyone care anymore?

I think i am more excited about watching Shakira, Alicia Keys, and Usher perform during halftime of the NBA all star game than the game itself. I spent zero minutes watching the NFL Pro Bowl, and maybe an inning or two of the MLB all star game......

i know its for the fans, kids I think. do u as a fan care anymore about all star games??

I like the MLB All Star game cause it actually had a purpose. It determines home field advantage for the World Series.

No interest what so ever.

I was watching the following instead...

And as usual, it was one hell of a race...

The Olympics are far more interesting... and HUMAN powered!

NBA All-Star weekend reminds me more and more of an episode of The Wire... Slam Dunk competition was absolutely horrible.

The game itself just ain't what it used to be.

By contrast, the men's moguls competition tonight from Vancouver is kick ass!

Well, I didn't watch a minute of yesterday's NBA All-star game, but 108,713 fans attended the game at The Jerry Jones Palace in Arlington. Baseball is the only all-star game where the players give 100%. Very little chance of injury in baseball, and, as mentioned, the game means something.

I too watched the Olympics. But I would have watched the NBA game over Nascar. Sorry Mokoa.

The typical road repair crew. 3 actual workers and 11 "official" observers, plus 100,000+ gawkers... LOL

Up here in Dallas they were calling it the black super bowl.
Apparently the NBA All Star game is now considered the prime gathering spot for black businessmen and celebrities.

Baseball only for me ... and very mild interest there. NBA and NFL's Pro Bowl? Not in the least.
