No lie...

I've had Spurs season tickets 22 years this year. Last July, my bro went to Vegas and I put some $ on them to take it all. The odds were 28-1. Up until a few weeks ago, I thought things were looking pretty good for me. I will admit, when they were steam-rolling through the first 60 games or so, I wondered if they were really 'that good'. Now I'm starting to wonder. I thought MAYBE playing playoff-bound teams towards the end of the year would be a nice 'warm up', but they REALLY seem to be struggling. Where the hell is the defense? Pop has been preaching that ALL year and here it is the end of the year and nothing. What to you guys/gals think? Am I panicking?
Hate to be negative, but "Kobe!"

Spurs great organization, but this run is out of steam I fear. How the f.... did they blow that lead, as great as Pop is, I think most HS teams coulda done better there.
Hope I'm wrong and this is just there little slip before strong playoff surge,

It is not the first time they have started to choke near the end of the regular season. Hopefully they can regain their focus. If they do not, the playoffs are not going to be pretty.

I hate the Lakers but they are peaking and are now fully focus. The Spurs will have a tough playoff draw facing the Grizzles in the first round! Lakers will be more than ready for the Spurs. Spurs have 2 things going against them..........AGE and lack of athletic big men!!! I'm afraid the end of the Spurs season will be in the playoffs and not in the Finals. But until then............. Go SPURS Go!!!!!..................Down with KOBE!!! (Send him back to Colorado-area hotels)

Lakers are looking good, but they can't look too far down the road, Portland, Denver and OKC are tough teams that can stretch a series to seven games. If Lakers and Spurs make it to the finals, Lakers have the edge with big physical guys+ Kobe. Spurs bench is strong, but will it be enough to make the difference? Having said all that, I'd love to see the Spurs hang another Championship banner.

OK Nikki I know this won't make me any points with you, but trying to be a realist.
.....and lest we forget - the trophy for every team is just one away.
I can'T believe what happened tonight! I was so upset I ate a hamburger!! (lol) Aljan...I'm an optimist to the end! GO SPURS GO!!

I still like the Spurs chances, I really do...IF Duncan gets healthy QUICK! But the team I'd fear most is Chicago. They are damn good. Derrick Rose will win MVP & lets not forget about Boston. They have the best point guard in the league. To me, I think the East will take the rings this year. I am still a spurs fan but if Duncan doesn't heal properly then they have no shot at all. Kobe is good & so is Bynum. Odom is hit or miss and Fisher is old any PG in the league would run circles around him lol but to me the most consistent laker is Pau Gasol. He is the only reason why the lakers made it to 3 straight finals. Without him, they were nothing. They've had most of the same cast for years & before that GIFT from Memphis they could barely make the playoffs. Their bench is not that deep & the only reason why that talentless ass clown luke walton is in the league is because of who is father is. Daddy says that Lukie will retire a laker...FUCK LA LA land!

With Manu now hurt, and Ducans questionable return date, this week will be a preview to the Spurs, playoffs chances. Not only do they play Portland tonight, but Celtics are here on Thursday. If they don't make it this year, they will be out of the running for sometime, as the, core of the team is old.
Spurs out in first round!! Whoo hop!!!!!

Romeo, just fyi...my incall is booby trapped! (lol)

Ms. Karla...bite your tongue! Well, at least we know who we AREN'T going to invite to the Road Warrior parties!!
Man I hope something gets the Spurs going!
Damn Karla, I was gonna invite you to the finals! Maybe Nikki will go w/me ? =) Yeah, I was hoping Tiago was gonna step it up w/Duncan down, but he hasn't had much playing time and I'm REALLY surprised Pop pulled that 'McDyess - for - Blair' move; he USUALLY doesn't dick with the lineup when he's got a good thing going. Well, playoffs start next weekend and fiesta starts this weekend. Time will telll but I was REALLY making room for trophy # 5. Take care everybody !
