Another life, another time, another guy might have come in here and made a big deal about the Spurs getting punked by the lottery-bound Houston Rockets tonight.. thank to a monumental coaching faux pas that allowed the clock to run out in overtime. Same guy might have mentioned how bush league the Spurs announce team sounded...and why NBA League Pass is the only way to go...

I think Pop needs to adjust his thinking. I don't know if he is being stubborn or what but during the last six losses I see Pop with what I think are improper adjustments. That being said, I have not won 4 NBA championships nor even coached basketball, however, from my observation you cannot have Bonner and Blair on the court at the same time. And that has been the recurring theme. While both of these provide talent to our team they become over matched against taller lineups. Blair is a hell of a rebounder but he cannot consistently rebound against the frontline of the Lakers, Celtics or even Houston when Bonner is on the court. If he is alongside Timmy, McDyess or even Tiago he is a monster. Bonner is all hustle. He is 6'10" but has a wingspan of a guy 6'6" so along side Blair who is 6'8" you are giving away too much height.

Who's that? He looks like someone who tried to play basketball once upon a time. I heard he tried to get his foot in the door, but there was too much metal in it... He like so many others, even some of my old pals around here, is just another used-to-be!
