I know I'm outing myself as an uber-nerd, but is anyone going to Comic Con in SD in July? I went in 2007 and it was incredible. Does anyone know what Comic Con is, for that matter? I'm stoked because in addition to completely nerding out, the booths are incredible and the exhibits are legendary. Not to mention, they'll be announcing the sequel to "The Dark Knight" and the screening of the movies!!! July 21 (preview night)-25.

Omg you have to go. It's an experience. I didn't know how much fun I'd have the first time I went, but...wow. I bought a limited edition original Masters of the Universe action figure set I hadn't seen since I was 7. And yeah, maybe a lifesize 6'2" cardboard stand-up of Superman in full angry-god mode. AND I met Stan Lee.

It really is badass. It's not just like, action figures and memorabilia. Sure, there's hella comics, but there's movie first looks, actors, etc.
Yesterday, I had an appt cancel, so I took the donation I would have used and dropped it on some graphic novels I'd been eyeing. $225 for comics? Yes. And it was a great alternative.
