Best part of Corpus Christi to stay?

I am considering a visit this weekend but not quite sure what part of town should I stay? I was checking out a few places and was considering the airport area, but not quite sure. Any good advice is highly appreciated

I would just say that if you stayed near the airport, unless you did nothin but outcalls, you would prob get way less visits. somewhere in town just makes it easier to get to you.
